The Piscataquis Valley Adult Education Cooperative graduation was held May 25 at the Center Theatre. State Sen. Paul Davis, R-Sangerville, delivered the keynote address to 57 graduates and their family and friends. Superintendents from Dover-Foxcroft, Guilford and Milo also attended the ceremony, which featured musical entertainment by Janice Curtis and John Curran. PVAEC was started in 2005 to serve the education needs of the community and has helped more than 90 people receive diplomas, as well as CNA and real estate certificates.
