DYER BROOK – Clay Lawlor racked up two singles and four RBIs, including the winning RBI in the bottom of the seventh as the eighth-ranked Southern Aroostook Warriors tipped No. 9 Shead 11-10 in a Class D baseball preliminary game Tuesday.

Lawlor singled in Evan Boutilier, who had singled and advanced to third on an error. Adam Anderson hit two singles and drove in two runs, while Josh Branscombe singled three times and added an RBI.

Shead of Eastport’s Brendon Laplante and Jacob Kilton each singled twice and tallied two RBIs.

Micah Dougherty led Bangor Christian with two home runs and four RBIs.
