FREEPORT – L.L. Bean announced Friday that it plans to open stores in Dedham and Mansfield, Mass., in 2007 and 2008.

A store at Mansfield Crossing, the largest shopping center in central Massachusetts and, is slated to open in fall 2007. The shopping center is located just off Interstate 495.

Legacy Place, in Dedham, will be home to an L.L. Bean store in spring 2008. That shopping center is located near the intersection of Interstate 95 and Route 128.

Each store will be 30,000 square feet and employ 125 people year round.
