What do you like to do besides kayak? Read books. I like Capote. But I am not reading much right now. I have a 1-year-old, and I work.

How much would you pay for a haircut? Twenty bucks. That’s probably a lot for a guy.

What’s the best meal you’ve had recently? My wife and I had crab cakes for lunch over the weekend.

What do you do for work? I supervise a recreation program at KidsPeace in Ellsworth.
