BANGOR – Shane Walton’s bunt single on a suicide squeeze play with one out in the bottom of the seventh scored Tom Crews from third with the winning run as the Bangor Comrades nipped Waldo 5-4 in American Legion baseball action Thursday night at Mansfield Stadium.

Alex Gallant had two singles and Kyle Leeman had a triple and an RBI for Bangor.

Mike Cammons singled twice to pace Waldo.

Lincoln 12, Presque Isle 3

At Lincoln, Jason Murchison hit a triple, double, and single while scoring two runs to help lead Lincoln to victory.

Pete Coggins hit a two-run homer while Tyson Tash hit a double and two singles with two RBIs. Blane Clark and Josh Murchison each hit two singles with an RBI for the Lumber.

Devin Hersey hit a solo home run for Presque Isle while Pat Thibodeau added two singles.

Hampden 7, Penquis 6

At Hampden, Chris Morris drove in a run with a single in the bottom of the seventh to lift Hampden to the win.

Joel Neill singled twice and knocked in two runs and Justin Kelsey added a pair of singles for the Riverdogs.

Danny Kane had an RBI single and Dan Beatham a double for Penquis.

At Calais, Collin Henry hit a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to help lead Trenton by Calais.

Lucas Marks hit a two-run double while Blake Wessell had an RBI double. Andy Pooler added a triple for the winners.

Scott Geel and Aaron Sullivan each hit a double for Calais.
