HAMPDEN – Chris Maguire slammed a three-run homer to highlight a five-run fourth inning as the Brewer Falcons cruised to their eighth win of the summer, 7-1 over the Hampden River Dogs Thursday.
Maguire added an RBI single and Eddie Robbins doubled and knocked in a run for the Falcons.
Cody Haverly-Johndro hit an RBI single for Hampden while Tim Kenerson and Evan Farley each doubled.

At Bangor, Collin Henry pitched a complete game allowing one run on two hits with nine strikeouts to lead Trenton by Orono.
Lance Gale had a single and a double with two RBIs while Henry had two singles and a double. Andy Pooler added two singles for Trenton.
Dusty Thomas had an RBI double for Orono.

At Presque Isle, Matt McGlinn missed hitting for the cycle, but did manage to hit a two-run homer, a triple and a single for four RBIs while leading Presque Isle Patriots past the Lincoln Lumber.
Harry Austin had a double and a single while Hunter Caron doubled for Presque Isle.
Everett Houghton hit a solo home run for Lincoln. Tyson Tash and Tyler Thompson each hit a double.

At Husson College in Bangor on Wednesday evening, Phil Cayford pitched a three-hit shutout as Aerus Electrolux remained unbeaten in Bay League play.
Cayford struck out seven and walked four in outdueling Union Street Cleaners’ Barrett Dionne and Paul Klink, who combined on a five-hitter.
Chris Whitney’s RBI single in the sixth inning plated Mark Farnham to break a scoreless tie.
Nate Hall singled twice for Aerus Electrolux, while Billy Kane, P.J. Dowe and Cliff Urquhart each singled for Union Street Cleaners.
