PORTLAND – When Mark Gallagher of Yorkshire, England walked through the turnstile at Hadlock Field on Monday afternoon, he became the 5 millionth fan in the history of the Portland Sea Dogs.
Gallagher, who attended the game with his wife, threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Monday’s game against the Trenton Thunder. He was also rewarded with season tickets for the 2007 season.
