BANGOR – A teenage passenger injured last week in a car accident in Montville died Tuesday at Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Cassidy Hall, 15, of Liberty died from injuries suffered in a crash last Wednesday afternoon on Route 220, according to Dave Crabiel of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home in Belfast.

Hall was one of two passengers in a car driven by Cassandra Locke, 19, of Knox. Locke’s vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into a 1-ton pickup truck, according to police. Locke died in the accident.

The other 16-year-old passenger from Liberty, whose name was not released, was seriously injured and transported to EMMC.

The occupants of the pickup, John Studley, 63, and his wife Grace Studley, 66, summer residents of Nobleboro, were taken to Waldo County General Hospital.

John Studley stayed overnight at the hospital for observation and was released last Thursday, according to a hospital employee. His wife was treated last Wednesday and released later in the day.

Attempts to contact Maine State Police on Wednesday night concerning the status of the investigation were unsuccessful.
