ALFRED – Law enforcement agencies around New England are reported to be checking for connections between unsolved burglaries and three men accused of breaking into almost a dozen businesses from Maine to Rhode Island and stealing more than $100,000.
Police believe they stole the money by cutting through roofs of businesses, disabling alarm systems and stealing safes, according to WCSH-TV in Portland.
Dozens of law enforcement investigators were said to be involved in the case.
