BANGOR – Old Town edged Holbrook 10-9 and Brewer nipped Hampden 7-6 in District 3 Senior League All-Star action at Mansfield Stadium Thursday.
In the first game, Tyler Coombs’ RBI triple in the top of the seventh tied the game and Old Town brought in the winning run on a fielding error for the win.
Evan Paradis tallied three singles and an RBI and Dana Leland tripled, singled and drove in two runs. Cory Wasson added a double, single and an RBI. Lance Getchell and Jason Smith each singled twice for Old Town.
Tyler Coombs smacked an RBI triple and a single and Tommy Jackson chipped in with three singles and RBI. Greg Higgins, Joe Cookson, Nick Smith, Prentiss Swett each singled twice.
In the second game, Andy Bush’s RBI double tied the game and the go-ahead run scored on a two-out throwing error as Brewer topped Hampden.
Bush added a single, Billy Bissell had two singles and an RBI and Matt Helfen doubled for Brewer.
Ryan Lindemann hit two singles and notched two RBIs and Caleb Kirk chipped in with a double, single and two RBIs. Jerrod Kelsey had two singles and drove in a run for Hampden.

At Bucksport, Mitch Domagala’s two-run single in the bottom of the sixth highlighted a five-run rally that kept Ellsworth II alive in the losers’ bracket.
All five runs were unearned for Ellsworth, which cashed in on two Bucksport errors.
Domagala had two singles and Ethan Van Dorn had a single and three RBIs.
For Bucksport, Josh Gray had a triple and a single, Cody Witham had a double and a single, and Tyler McGuire singled twice.

Gehrig White singled, doubled and drove in a run, and Dylan Birmingham added an RBI double as Millinocket cruised past Brewer. Andrew Collins chipped in with a single and an RBI and Sam Ness singled.

At the Thirteenth Street Complex in Bangor, Brewer scored the go-ahead run on a passed ball with two outs in the top of the sixth and held on for the win.
Yuhi Sasaki hit an RBI single and Bradon Sinclair and Ben Pushard both added a single for Brewer.
Jessie Wood had a double, single and drove in two runs for Bangor West. Carl Farnham chipped in with a single and an RBI and Matt Fuller singled.

At Taylor Field in Bangor, Adam King launched a two-run home run in the fifth inning and had a single and two runs scored to lead Bangor East past Old Town.
Seth Freudenberger had two doubles and an RBI and Patrick Stewart added two singles for the winners. John Szewczyk hit a double and tallied a run scored.
Drew Richardson and David Wilcox had a single and an RBI apiece for Old Town.

Sam Ward belted a two-run home run in the second inning to go along with an RBI single, and Cooper Antone singled twice with an RBI. Will Manning chipped in with two singles and Brian Fickett had a single and a double for Hampden.
Ben Mann tallied two doubles and an RBI, and Brian Rouleau had an RBI single. Greg Duff, Chris Anderson and Dakota Williams singled for Bangor East.

Crystal Demchak led Orrington with an RBI single.
