Trevor, 13, enjoys being outdoors

Trevor, 13, is social, friendly, witty, kind, helpful and has a wonderful sense of humor.

He enjoys fishing, four-wheeling and riding snowmobiles.

Trevor likes sports of all types, but is particularly fond of basketball. He likes video games and loves to watch action movies.

Trevor can be helpful and is often willing to help others in need.

A two-parent family is being sought for Trevor. He is looking for a family with a “mom, dad and a four-wheeler,” who will provide him with love, security, permanence and a patient environment that will allow him to express himself verbally.

Trevor is one of the 157 children in the state Department of Health and Human Services’ care who are seeking an adoptive family.

Based in Gardiner, A Family for ME is a nonprofit program that works in collaboration with DHHS to find foster and adoptive families for Maine children in care.

For information about Trevor or other children available for adoption, contact A Family for ME toll free at (877) 505-0545 or visit www.AFamilyForMe.org and see gallery of photographs of some of the children.
