DOVER-FOXCROFT – Local residents are invited to share concerns and comments about what they would like addressed during a revision of the town’s charter.

The comments can be aired at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, in the Superior Courtroom in Dover-Foxcroft, when the newly formed Dover-Foxcroft Charter Committee will hold its first public hearing.

The committee held an organizational meeting last Tuesday and elected Tom Brown as chairman. Charles Merrill was elected vice chairman and Robin Merrill secretary.

Other members include Eric Annis, Jane Conroy, David Perkins, Robert Stutzman, Sue Mackey Andrews and Dan Philbrick.

After the public hearing, the committee will meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the same location.
