WATERVILLE – The state’s top high school field hockey players from the Class of 2006 will gather at Colby College today for the annual McNally Senior All-Star Game.

More than 40 players have been invited to play for the East and West team in the 6 p.m. game, with proceeds from the event donated to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Many of the athletes playing in the game toured the hospital Friday.

Coaches for the event are Paula Doughty of Skowhegan, Allen Holmes of Belfast, and Diane Rollins of Central of Corinth for the East and Patty Bourget of Bonny Eagle of Standish, Barb Marois of York, and Gail Wight of Telstar of Bethel for the West.
