WATERVILLE – Colby College had its best-ever finish in the Director’s Cup, placing 31st in the country among NCAA Division III athletics.
The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), the U.S. Sports Academy and USA Today awards the Cup. Points are awarded based on finishes in the NCAA tournaments.
The Waterville-based school’s women’s cross country, volleyball, alpine skiing, indoor track and field, lacrosse and swimming teams along with the men’s swimming, in door track and field and outdoor track and field teams scored points toward Colby’s place in the overall standings. The White Mules scored 372.5 points.
