Israel’s must-win war

Israel is in the fight of her life – a fight for her very existence. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is chief among all who want to wipe Israel off the map. Iran, along with Syria, Hamas and Hezbollah – referred to as a new axis of evil by an online newsletter called the Daily Alert – is totally committed to Israel’s demise. Therefore, the conflict raging in Israel, Lebanon and Gaza is a must-win war for Israel.

Iran supports Hezbollah to the tune of $100 million a year! The terror-producing Katyusha rockets, as well as missiles which are able to penetrate farther and farther into the tiny country, are provided to Hezbollah by Iran, and Iranian special forces have been seen in the Hezbollah stronghold of southern Lebanon.

Israel must take down and hopefully even completely wipe out Hezbollah. But that’s just one front of this two-front war.

The other is Gaza, provoked by Hamas, whom Israel must also put down or eliminate. This particular predicament is largely the fault of the United States because we pushed Israel into driving her 8,000 settlers out of Gaza, turning it over to the Palestinians, who then stupidly voted Hamas in to lead their government. Over the past 11 months since the so-called “disengagement,” Gaza has become an armed camp and a terrorist haven. Nobody seems to care much about the Israeli citizens who have been forced from their homes to live like refugees, more than half of whom are now unemployed.

Then came the capture of an Israeli soldier by Hamas, followed by the capture of two more by Hezbollah. So why does the world seem to think Israel must “exercise the utmost restraint”?!

Go Israel, you get ’em, girl!

In God’s Word He says that Israel will exist forever.
