Regular-season play concluded Tuesday, leaving Brewer (19-3) as the zone’s No. 1 seed for the second straight year and 18-4 Bangor as the No. 2 seed for the second straight year.

Brewer is one of four South Division teams to qualify for the six-team field, along with No. 3 Trenton (15-7), No. 4 Waldo (12-10) and Penquis (11-11).

Presque Isle (11-11) joins Bangor as a tournament qualifier from the North Division.

Presque Isle defeated Penquis 7-6 in nine innings Tuesday night, leaving those teams with identical records.

Presque Isle coach Chris Parsons said after the game that he wouldn’t know until tiebreakers are employed Wednesday whether his team or Penquis would be seeded fifth, with the other team earning the sixth seed.
