BOOTHBAY HARBOR – Maine Maritime Academy’s Taylor Sheerness edged out Merle Hallett’s Scaramouche and Ted Smith’s Whiplash to take first place in Class A at the Boothbay Regatta Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16. Five classes of boats competing in the two-day event.
Other class winners included Geoffrey Emanuel’s Commotion in Class B, Don Logan’s Keemah in the J/105 one-design class, John Merrill’s Zealot in Cruising Class, and Tom Norsworthy’s Blauer Engelin the Boothbay Harbor one-design class.
