BANGOR – Josiah Hartley hit a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning to score Carl Farnham, who had singled, giving Bangor West a 1-0 victory over Brewer for the District 3 Little League baseball 11-12 title at Taylor Field.
Hartley also struck out 14 for Bangor West, which got a single from Brian Burns.
Shaun Williams notched Brewer’s only hit, a single, and tough-luck loser Yuhi Sasaki struck out 12.

At Bucksport, Bucksport scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally past Acadian.
Isaac Redman hit a two-run double and Tyler French drove in two runs on a double and a single. Robbie McGuire singled twice for Bucksport.
Peter Logue had three singles and an RBI and Taylor Stewart added a single, double and RBI to pace Acadian. Devon Young notched two singles and Willie Clark tallied two RBIs.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Evan McCarthy’s RBI single in the seventh plated the go-ahead run for Katahdin Valley as it erased a five-run deficit in the sixth to earn the win.
McCarthy finished with two singles and three RBIs and Andy Kay singled twice for Katahdin Valley.
Jeremy Leong and Matt Lindemann each singled twice and Brad Hersey doubled for Hampden.

Derek Tanous slapped two singles and drove in a run while Zach Hartley had an RBI single for Millinocket. Kyle McVey singled twice and Nick Dumas doubled.

Mack Susi laced a two-run double and Christian Dionne a three-run double for Bangor. Ryan LaRochelle rapped a triple and three singles with an RBI and John Cox had two singles and an RBI.
Brent Dority and Ryan Kimball each singled for Glenburn-Levant.
