ROCKLAND – Steve Staples scored a hole-in-one on the 216-yard, par-3 ninth hole on Saturday at Rockland Golf Club. Staples used a 3-wood, and it was witnessed by Jimmy Raye, Chris Seavey, and Rick Creamer.

BANGOR – Gerry Bourgoin of Hampden recorded an ace Sunday on the 151-yard, par-3 third hole at Bangor Municipal Golf Course with a 6-iron. It was witnessed by Sandy Bourgoin, Huberta Barrett, and James Barrett.
