HERMON – George Tripp smacked two triples, a double and an RBI single as Montville beat Aerus Electrolux 8-2 in the first game of a Sunday Bay League doubleheader. Montville won the second game 8-5.

In the first game, George Tripp smacked two triples, a double and an RBI single, and Bob Withee added a single and an RBI triple for Montville.

Devin Potvin singled twice with two RBIs and Nate Hall drove in a run with two singles.

Mark Farnham tallied and RBI double and Andy Tredwell drove in a run on a single. Phil Cayford and Shawn Dennis each tallied two singles for Aerus Electrolux.

In the second game, Withee singled twice and Ben Cowan added two singles and an RBI. Hall notched an RBI single and Tom Dennen drove in three runs and hit a single.

Cayford doubled and singled for Aerus. Shawn Dennis had two singles and an RBI and Farnham added a two-run double.

Movingme.com, Searsport split

At Searsport, Anthony Shaw hit three singles and drove in two runs as Movingme.com defeated Searsport 5-4 in the first game.

Searsport won the second game via disqualification in the bottom of the 5th inning.

In the first game, Ryan Logan had two singles while Eric Schwab and Marcus Nadeau each added a single for the winners.

Tyler Wilson and Noward Whitcomb each singled twice and drove in a run. Chris Peace and Eric Eddy each had a single and an RBI for Searsport.

In the second game, Mark O’Clair hit two singles with an RBI for Searsport.

Nadeau singled and doubled with two RBIs while Greg Hawes had an RBI single. Case Chandler added two singles for Movingme.com.
