After having attended a recent benefit dinner for Eric and Melissa Tableman and their young family, Judy Hager of Bangor decided she needed to do something, as well, to help the couple and their three children, who recently lost their Hermon home and all its contents to fire.
So Hager is hosting a silent auction from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, through Saturday, Aug. 5, at Home Interiors & Gifts w/Judy, 159 State St. in Bangor.
“I’m taking many different items that we have,” and putting them in the silent auction,” Hager explained, with the net proceeds from all sales benefiting the Tablemans.
Hager said she has “a lot of beautiful home accessories,” including “some of the newest Thomas Kinkade items” along with Better Homes & Gardens merchandise and Home Interiors merchandise for you to bid on.
Hager said the family “needs furniture and household accessories,” and “they don’t even have a picture to put on their wall. They lost everything,” which is why she is hoping you will “stop in and say hello and place your bids” to help the family during this difficult time.
For more information about the silent auction, call Hager at 992-2556 or 991-3331.
