WINTERPORT – Winterport Dragway will hold its second annual Nostalgia Drag Race and Nostalgia Day this weekend.

The Nostalgia Drag Race will take place on Saturday. Street legal cars from 1963 or older will be involved in the race. Just as in the old days there will be a flag start. There will be no classes and no trophies. Drivers must have helmets and seat belts are required. The gates open at 8 a.m. with racing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nostalgia Day will take place on Sunday and will feature a regular program of drag races along with a special race for cars that are at least 25 years old. There will also be a Camero and Mustang challenge race. The gates open at 8 a.m. with time trials beginning at 8:30 a.m. and elimination races at 12:30 p.m.
