WATERVILLE – The Portland Beverage Sharks, which features several local players, won their second straight Maine Class A/B Coed State Championship in a tournament last weekend. The Sharks beat Waterville-based Northern Signs 9-2 in the championship game and went 6-1 overall in the tournament.

WATERVILLE – The Portland Beverage Sharks, which features several local players, won their second straight Maine Class A/B Coed State Championship in a tournament last weekend.

The Sharks beat Waterville-based Northern Signs 9-2 in the championship game and went 6-1 overall in the tournament.

Team members are Sabrina Fogg, Jackie Aspelund, Carolyn McAvoy, Dawn Eaton, Beth Reindeau, Michelle Forst, Marc Inman, Rob White, Matt Aspelund, Jimi Caron, Marty Cushing, Brad Strout, Donnie Strout and Mike Viani.

The team will head to the national tournament in Columbia, Mo., in October. To donate to the team contact Matt at 344-8125.
