EASTON, Md. – Hailey Smith and Lacey Littlefield combined for a one-hit shutout, walking only one and striking out 12 to lead Maine representative Hampden to a 2-0 victory over Rhode Island in the Eastern Senior League Softball Regionals on Wednesday.

Eva Shannon, Kate Peverada, Kate Plowman, Kasey Belcher, and Anjelica Daveport singled for Hampden.

Amanda Kelley singled for Rhode Island’s only hit.
