BRIAN HEAD, Utah – Adam Craig of Corinth and Bend, Ore., had a pair of top-10 finishes over the weekend during action at the sixth stop of the 2006 National Mountain Biking Series tour.

Craig placed eighth in the cross country race, 5 minutes, 3 seconds behind winner Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski of Boulder, Colo., who completed the demanding 28-mile loop course in 1:40:13.05, more than three minutes ahead of second-place Geoff Kabush of Victoria, British Columbia.

Craig also placed second in the Super D (downhill) race, 2.47 seconds behind winner Ross Schnell, who was timed in 12:04.49. Craig retains his lead in the NMBS Super D point standings, one point ahead of Schnell.

The final event of the NMBS series, the Snowmass NMBS Finals, is Aug. 12-13 at Snowmass, Colo.
