Oxford Plains Speedway

At Oxford, Jeff Taylor of Norridgewock overtook Newcastle’s Charlie Colby on the 41st lap and cruised to his third Oxford Networks Pro Stock victory of the season Saturday night.

Reigning division champion Tim Brackett of Oxford placed second in the 50-lap event, followed by Colby, Chris Kennison of Oxford and Scott Moore of Anson.

At Scarborough, Steve Carrier of Saco took the lead on the final lap and held off Curt Gerry of Waldoboro to win Saturday night’s NASCAR Pro Series 40-lap feature. Alan Tardiff of Lyman was third, with Bob Gahan of Barrington, N.H., and Trevor Sanborn of Parsonfield completing the top five.
