Triple A ATM records two victories in playoffs

HERMON – Triple A ATM of Searsport beat Movingme.com 8-6 on Saturday and defeated UBS Financial 2-1 on Sunday in Bay League playoff action.

Nick Arthers smacked an RBI triple to tie the game and Chris Pease drove in the winning run on a double in the top of the 10th as Triple A ATM of Searsport held off Movingme.com on Saturday.

Arthers also hit a solo home run in the third inning and tallied an RBI single. Travis Griffin notched a triple, double and three singles, and Tyler Wilson singled four times. Paul Hermon chipped in with an RBI triple for the winners.

Ryan Logan doubled, singled and drove in two runs and James Strout had three runs scored and hit two singles. Greg Hawes added a single and a double and Anthony Shaw tripled for Movingme.com.

On Sunday, Travis Griffin hit a sacrifice fly to bring home Marc Auclair and Chris Pease drove in Nick Arthers on an RBI double in the top of the eighth as Triple A ATM held off UBS for the win.

Pease, Auclair and Howard Whitcomb each singled for AAA ATM.

Craig Harvey had three singled and a double and Travis Tripp added two singles for UBS. Chris McInnis chipped in a single.
