PORTLAND, Maine – Keoni De Renne drove in four runs, Matt Van Der Bosch belted a two-run homer and Jose Vaquedano pitched five effective innings as the Portland Sea Dogs beat the Harrisburg Senators 13-4 Thursday in the Eastern League.

Zach Borowiak and Mike Leonard also collected two RBIs for Portland, while Melvin Dorta tallied two for Harrisburg.

De Renne’s two-run double was the key hit as the Sea Dogs (60-56) grabbed a 5-0 lead in the first inning. After Harrisburg (57-60) replied with two in the top of the second, Portland made it 9-2 in the second half, sparked by Borowiak’s two-run double.

Dorta’s bases-loaded single plated Harrisburg’s final two runs of the afternoon in the sixth.

De Renne’s RBI single in the fifth, Van Der Bosch’s two-run homer in the sixth and Jacoby Ellsbury’s solo shot in the eighth wrapped up Portland’s scoring.
