BOONVILLE, N.Y. – Eastbrook’s Michelle Morse and Ellsworth’s Alissa Jones competed in the Woodmen’s Field Days Open Lumberjill Competition last Saturday with both taking medals.
Jones won the gold in Axe Throwing with a score of 13 out of a possible 15 points. Morse tied for second, but finished sixth after two throw-offs.
Morse also finished second in the Underhand Chop while Jones took seventh.
Morse took the bronze in the Standing Block Chop.
Jones and Morse finished sixth in the Two Woman Cross-Cut Sawing event.
