Better than the pros
I had the great pleasure of watching the championship game of the Senior League World Series at Mansfield Stadium (what a treasure that is for Bangor) and also seeing some of the Little League World Series on television. Of course, I watch major league baseball, too. I was struck by this thought as I compared the appearance and conduct of our young players with that of many of our major league superstars:
One the one side we have children looking and acting like professionals. On the other side we have professionals looking and acting like children.
