Greedy oil profiteers

Concerning the high price of gasoline and the obscene profits being made by the big oil companies. This obscenity is on a par with pornography. But unlike pornography, which is not being shoved down our throats, this one is.

Greedy profiteers have got us by the throat and like maniacs they just keep on squeezing. A government that is supposed to be for, of and by the people is showing itself to be for, of and by the greedy.

As citizens, Americans should be concerned and to permit the powers that be to get away with this abuse, and do nothing to try to correct the problem, is to deserve what is coming. I am doing my five cents’ worth through this letter; not that it will do much good.

For those in high places to claim to be Christian carries with it a big responsibility. Trees are judged by their fruits, not on how they sound when the wind blows through their leaves.
