FORT FAIRFIELD – Sadie Ayoob had a goal and an assist and Kerri Cunningham and Kaitlyn McLaughlin each added a goal as the Fort Fairfield Tigers improved their record to 5-1 with a 3-1 high school girls soccer victory over the Katahdin Cougars Wednesday.
Janelle Duncan chipped in with an assist for Fort Fairfield, while goalie Kellie Osgood made six saves on 10 shots.
Ronnie Robinson scored an unassisted goal for 0-2 Katahdin of Stacyville, while Kayla Stevens made eight saves on 11 shots.
LCS/MSSM 12, Easton 4
At Easton, Brittany King and Kellie Peers each netted three goals to lead Limestone Community School/Maine School of Science and Mathematics by Easton.
Logan Cousins scored two goals while Megan Leighton, Julie Peers, Jasmine Cote and Ashley Kennedy each added a goal. Cote recorded two assists while Leighton and Kellie Peers each had one. Melanie Allen made six saves on 16 shots for the Eagles.
Kendra Conroy, Lisa Dayringer, Cassie Lovely and Kilynne Beaulieu each scored for Easton. Taylor Burtt made 25 saves on 47 shots for the Bears.
Boys soccer
Presque Isle 3, Caribou 0
At Presque Isle, Russ Mortland scored three goals to lead Presque Isle to the shutout victory over Caribou.
Logan York assisted on two of Mortland’s goals for Presque Isle. Adam and Dillon Kingsbury combined for 5 saves on 5 shots for the 3-0 Wildcats.
Seth Sager and Chad McCarthy combined for 20 saves on 23 shots for the 2-1 Vikings.
Madawaska 8, Wisdom 0
At Madawaska, Madawaska scored seven goals in the first half as it shut out Wisdom.
Nathan Beaulieu, Michael Cannan, Tim McDermott, Adam Ouellette, Craig Cyr, Kyle Pelletier and Kevin Dufour each had a goal in the first. Shawn Parker scored Madawaska’s eighth goal. Chad Bechard made four saves on four shots for the 2-4-1 Owls.
Curtis Collin made 22 saves on 30 shots for the 0-5 Pioneers.
