STACYVILLE – Morgan Chasse scored two goals and assisted on a third to help the Bangor Christian Patriots rally from an early 2-0 deficit for a 4-2 schoolgirl soccer victory over the Katahdin Cougars Friday.

Chasse scored an unassisted first-half goal, then converted a Katherine Bragg pass in the second half. Bragg also scored a goal and assisted on a Christin Pelletier tally.

Libbey Long made seven saves on 13 shots for 1-0 Bangor Christian.

Ronnie Robinson and Jasmine Cyr each scored a goal in the first 41/2 minutes of the contest, assisting on each other’s tally. Kayla Stevens made 17 saves on 28 shots for 1-1 Katahdin.

George Stevens 4, Central 0

At Corinth, Maddi Park and Alida Peace each scored two goals to lead George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill to the win.

Kayla Eaton stopped four of nine shots for the 1-0 Eagles.

Jessica Daniel recorded nine saves on 21 shots for 0-1 Central.

Penobscot Valley 6, Schenck 2

At Howland, Mindy Dolley scored three times to lead Penobscot Valley to victory.

Molly Thompson had a goal and an assist for the 1-0 Howlers while Kacey Plourde and Erin Dawson each added a goal. Julie Theriault made six saves on eight shots.

Samantha York and Kristen Nicholson scored for Schenck of East Millinocket. Trisha Hobbs stopped 11 of 18 shots.

Hermon 1, Foxcroft 1 (2OT)

At Hermon, Lindsey Chase scored the tying goal with 35:36 left in the first half on a Leslie Martin assist for Foxcroft Academy.

Sarah Whittemore stopped 12 of 15 shots for the 0-0-1 Ponies.

Chelsea Pottle scored an unassisted goal with 25:47 left in the first half for the 0-0-1 Hawks. Ashley Kelly and Danielle Ross combined to save 14 of 16 shots.

JV: Hermon 2-0

Ellsworth 1, Bucksport 0 (2OT)

At Ellsworth, Maggie Harding scored on a Emily Miller assist with 2:41 left in the second overtime to lead Ellsworth past Bucksport.

Catie Cravens made six saves on 10 shots for 1-0 Ellsworth.

Katie Hurd stopped 10 of 17 shots for the 0-1 Golden Bucks.

Hampden 2, Skowhegan 0

At Hampden, Mikki Libbey scored both goals to lead Hampden Academy to victory.

Sophie Kelmenson assisted Libbey’s first goal for the 1-0 Broncos. Michelle Wells made six saves on eight shots.

Crystal Johnson recorded 17 saves on 32 shots for 0-1 Skowhegan.

Field hockey

Camden Hills 4, Mount View 3

At Thorndike, Amanda Kava scored two goals, including the game-winner with 1:37 left in the second overtime, to lift the Windjammers to the win.

Erika Blauth assisted on the game-winner for 1-0 Camden Hills. Kava also assisted on a goal by Laura Schelbe, who logged an assist on Kava’s first goal. Megan Bauer added a goal off a pass from Kate Fetterman. Dale Winsper stopped 16 shots.

Jennifer Massesa and Tara Bowden each knocked in a goal for the 0-1 Mustangs. Britney Bowden had an assist and Molly Arute scored with about a minute in regulation to send the game into overtime. Lindze Cronin made 14 saves.

Belfast 5, Winslow 2

At Winslow, Brooke Reed and Kallie Aldus each scored two goals to push Belfast past Winslow.

Jillian Ross had a goal and an assist for the 1-0 Lions. Britt Cummings and Briana Curry each recorded an assist. Liz Anderson turned away eight of 10 shots.

Ali Krigel and Corinne Bertolicinni both scored second-half goals for the 0-1 Black Raiders. Elise Theriault stopped 16 of 21 shots.

JV: Winslow 1-0

Central 1, Dexter 1 (2OT)

At Dexter, Michelle Chapman scored off a Jordan Conway pass with 10:15 left in the second half for the Tigers as they tied Central of Corinth in the mutual opener.

Katie Poirier saved 14 of 16 shots for Dexter.

Aliza Underhill scored on a penalty stroke while Sam Morin saved four of six shots for Central.

JV: Dexter 2-0

Orono 5, Old Town 1

At Old Town, Amy Marces knocked in a pair of goals as the Red Riots captured the mutual opener.

Mari-Dawn Lamb, Kelsey Johnson and Elizabeth Lord added a goal apiece for Orono. Kristine Kittridge made 12 saves on 13 shots.

Lindsay St. Louis scored Old Town’s lone goal while Heather Nye saved 17 of 22 shots.

Piscataquis 3, Brewer 1

At Brewer, Kellie Martel scored two goals and assisted on the other to power Piscataquis Community of Guilford past Brewer.

Martel scored a first-half goal on an assist by Hattie Agnew, then set up Naomi Davis’ goal and converted a penalty stroke in the second half. Jessica Pratt made seven saves on eight shots.

Emily Fraser scored for Brewer on a Sarah Estes assist. Angela Patterson made 24 saves on 27 shots.

Boys soccer

Messalonskee 1, Old Town 0

At Old Town, Dave Rossignol scored on a Greg Ford assist 17 minutes into the first half to lead Messalonskee of Oakland to victory.

Tim Davis stopped all 14 shots for the 1-0 Eagles.

Sam Petrie made six saves on seven shots for 0-1 Old Town.

Foxcroft 3, Hermon 0

At Dover-Foxcroft, P.J. Bombero scored with 29:02 left in the first half to help push Foxcroft Academy to the win.

Albert Kim and Brandon Gourley added goals for the 1-0 Ponies. Jordan Kim and Andy Dong both had an assist while Evan Bridges made 16 saves on 17 shots.

Josh Blaine stopped nine of 17 shots for 0-1 Hermon.

Mt. Blue 4, Nokomis 1

At Newport, Devin Ferreira had scored three goals to lead Mt. Blue of Farmington past Nokomis.

Zac Conlogue added a goal for the Cougars. Alex Lee had two assists and Ben Russell had an assist. Devin Zamboni made eight saves on 10 shots.

Sam Wilson scored on a direct kick in the first half for the 0-1 Warriors. Wayne May stopped 14 of 18 shots.

JV: Mt. Blue 4-0

Mount View 3, MCI 3 (2OT)

At Pittsfield, Alex Pierel scored on a free kick with three minutes left in regulation to tie the game at 3-3 for Mount View of Thorndike.

Cody Zane and Eben Estell each added a goal for the 0-0-1 Mustangs. Ross Caron made 12 saves on 18 shots.

Brandon Glencross scored a goal and assisted another for 0-0-1 Maine Central Institute. Owen Campbell and Mark Neace had a goal. Dennis Moody stopped 10 of 19 shots.

Orono 6, Penquis 1

At Orono, Lee Hecker scored three goals as the Riots jumped out to a 5-0 lead and cruised past the Patriots of Milo.

Chris McConnon added two goals and an assist for 1-0 Orono, Hosain Aghamoosa had a goal and two assists, and Paul Ohno had an assist. Nate Peterson made two saves on three shots.

Robert Veno scored unassisted for Penquis, and Brian Zwicker made 16 saves on 22 shots.

Hampden 4, Skowhegan 0

At Skowhegan, Nick Beal scored three goals and assisted the other to lead Hampden Academy to victory.

Logan Larabee scored a goal for the 1-0 Broncos and Josh Groleau had an assist. Jon Lenz and Cam Cox combined to stop three of five shots.

Allan MacKay turned away 14 of 26 shots for 0-1 Skowhegan.

Piscataquis 1, PVHS 1 (2OT)

At Guilford, Roy Burdin scored the tying goal with 4:13 left in regulation on a penalty kick for Piscataquis.

Ryan Martell made three saves on four shots for the 0-0-1 Pirates.

Ryan Ware scored an unassisted goal with 38:08 left in the second half for 0-0-1 Penobscot Valley of Howland. Brian Harris stopped seven of 12 shots.
