AUGUSTA – The Maine Economic Research Institute will hold its fourth annual MERI Subscriber Symposium from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the Augusta Civic Center.

The symposium will feature an informative program titled “Understanding Election/Campaign Regulations: A Primer for Maine Business.” Attendees will have an opportunity to hear a panel of experts discuss this timely election-year topic.

The keynote speaker will be Jonathan Wayne, executive director of the Maine Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices.
