WATERVILLE – Chris Brady stopped eight of 11 shots to help the Brewer boys soccer team earn a 2-0 victory over Waterville Saturday.

Marc Relford and Reid McLaughlin each scored a goal for the 1-0 Witches. Prentiss Swett and Christian Klein each chipped in with an assist.

Nick Lee made 10 saves on 18 shots for the Panthers.

JV: 1-1

Bangor 12, Lawrence 0

At Fairfield, Tony Martinez scored four goals as Bangor prevailed.

Nick George scored three times and had an assist for the 1-0 Rams and Devin Lincoln added two goals. Dan Taft and Mack Susi each scored a goal and had an assist. Johnny Warren scored a goal while Pat Bolduc, Jo Jo Hwalek and Troy Jellison each had two assists. Aaron Taft and Erik Milles combined for one save.

Max Haney made 29 saves on 41 shots for 0-1 Lawrence.

JV: Bangor 4-0

John Bapst 4, Caribou 2

At Caribou, Andrew Casey scored twice to push John Bapst of Bangor to victory.

Ian Bamford and Casey Hull scored for the 1-0 Crusaders. Chris Smith made two saves on 10 shots.

Jarryd Rossignol and Kyle Corrigan scored for 2-2 Caribou. Chad McCarthy stopped eight of 18 shots.

JV: Caribou 4-0

Bangor Christian 6, Katahdin 2

At Stacyville Friday, Zach Kutz scored three goals and had an assist as the Patriots recorded their 19th straight victory dating back to last season.

Phil Dougherty scored twice for 1-0 Bangor Christian and Jeremy Leong added a goal. Sam McLeod stopped 23 of 29 shots.

Dexter 2, DI-Stonington 1

At Dexter, Dan Beatham scored the winning goal off a pass from Rick Stewart with 9:57 left as the Tigers prevailed.

Aaron Woodman netted Dexter’s first goal with an assist from David Wilks. Chris Eastman made four saves on five shots for the 1-0 Tigers.

Bryant Ciomei scored an unassisted goal for DI-Stonington. Rob Brown made 17 saves on 36 shots for the 0-1 Mariners.

Girls soccer

John Bapst 1, Caribou 0

At Caribou, Kristen Willard scored the unassisted winning goal with 55 seconds left in regulation to lead John Bapst.

Caroline Cassling and Amber Estes combined to make six saves on nine shots for the 1-0 Crusaders of Bangor.

Brittany Doak stopped seven of nine shots for 1-2-1 Caribou.

Dexter 8, DI-Stonington 0

At Dexter, Alexis Mitchell racked up three goals and two assists as the Tigers cruised.

Sarah Domenech had two goals and an assist for 1-0 Dexter. Kylie Keene, Lindsay Burton and Anna Fournier each added a goal and Kristen Brasier had an assist. Ashley Richardson stopped three shots.

Anika Powers made 15 saves on 23 shots for 0-1 Deer Isle-Stonington.

Field hockey

Foxcroft 3, Nokomis 1

At Newport, Kelsey Boss scored three goals as Foxcroft held off Nokomis.

Amy Molinaro, Jen Gagnon and Emily Hutchinson each had an assist for the 1-0 Ponies. Renee Maheu turned away three of four shots.

Sabrina Valliancourt scored on a Lauren Lancaster assist for the 0-1 Warriors. Beth Flanders made nine saves on 12 shots.

John Bapst 2, MA Lynx 1 (OT)

At Lincoln, Meagan Tilton scored an unassisted goal with 4:36 left in overtime to lift the Crusaders past the Lynx.

Christina Andrle scored on a Tilton assist for 1-0 John Bapst of Bangor. Hillary Laferriere stopped 15 of 19 shots.

Tikki Smith tied the game with five minutes left in regulation for 0-1 MA. Sarah French saved 27 of 33 shots.

JV: Mattanawcook 2-0
