A woman wanted by police was arrested Thursday and charged with violation of release conditions and possession of Schedule Z drugs.
Police documents state police responded to a report that Nettie Ryder, 28, of Bangor was at 75 Cedar St. in Bangor that night. Police confirmed her identity and arrested her.
When police searched her apartment, they reportedly found a glass marijuana pipe, a cellophane wrapper containing pills labeled “Seroquel 100” and an unlabeled prescription bottle full of nonprescription pills.
According to police reports, Ryder said she had a prescription for Wellbutrin, but when questioned stated that her prescription was for the Seroquel, not the Wellbutrin. She also told police the pills wrapped in cellophane were from a pharmacy and were extra pills.
A woman reportedly was found in her apartment drenched in blood when police responded to a call about a domestic fight early Saturday morning.
Police documents state the woman was standing on her front porch screaming when they arrived, and she re-entered the building before police could talk to her.
David G. Kern, 37, met the police outside. According to reports, he had small wounds on his face and blood on the knuckles of both hands. When questioned, he stated that there was no assault, but that the woman had beaten him up.
Police documents state that the woman was found inside the house with her face and clothes covered in blood. Her nose was visibly off-center and she was screaming. She told police that Kern had hit her in the nose.
According to police reports, the woman had kicked Kern out of her apartment that day and then went to visit a friend. When she returned, she found him passed out inside the apartment. She told police he beat her when she woke him up and told him to leave.
Police reports indicate that she was heavily intoxicated and was not sure at what time her injuries had occurred, but that she was still bleeding freely from the nose. She had other injuries on her side and back.
Police arrested Kern and charged him with assault. His wounds were determined to be defensive wounds caused by the woman.
Police arrested a Bangor man Friday and charged him with resisting arrest after he reportedly shoved an officer and ran from police.
Police responded to a call reporting an assault on Hammond and Ohio streets reporting that two people had been arguing and the male had hit the female.
According to police documents, Christopher R. Richards Jr. was walking down Sanford Street, yelling and making threatening gestures at a woman he was following. His right arm was in a sling.
Police searched Richards and found an unidentified object in his right pants pocket. When asked what it was, Richards refused to respond. He then pushed the officer away and ran from him. He hid behind the YWCA but eventually came out and submitted to arrest. He was charged with resisting arrest and was transported to Penobscot County Jail.
A witness check later revealed that the female had hit Richards. According to police reports, she had left the area when Richards ran from the police.
A Wales man was arrested around midnight Sunday at the Ramada Inn on the Odlin Road and was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.
Police documents state that Barnaby’s manager Free Martin asked police to order Dana Bellemore, 23, to leave the premises because he was visibly intoxicated. When told to leave by police, Bellemore started to yell profanities. Police issued him a warning for disorderly conduct and a warning for criminal trespassing.
Bellemore left, but returned a few minutes later. He was again told by the police and Martin to leave. According to police reports, he argued that he needed to find a friend who was there. He was again told to leave hotel property. This time he walked to the edge of the parking lot and stood there yelling profanities and making obscene gestures at the police.
Reports state that a few minutes later Martin told the police that Bellemore had returned again and was this time standing outside the main entrance to the hotel. He was arrested and transported to Penobscot County Jail.
Another incident at the Ramada Inn on the Odlin Road resulted in the arrest of a Belfast man at approximately 11 p.m. Saturday.
According to police documents, Barnaby’s employees and manager Free Martin asked Mark Stovall, 27, to leave because he was visibly intoxicated. When Stovall refused, Martin asked police for help. Stovall was ordered to leave the premises.
Several minutes later, he reportedly returned and demanded to be escorted back into the bar to find a friend. Police reports state he was told three times to leave or he would be arrested. When Stovall refused to leave, police arrested him and charged him with criminal trespass.
