OXFORD – The TD Banknorth 250 will return for its 34th race at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday, July 22, OPS officials announced Tuesday.

The race is now part of the Oxford Late Model Challenge, a five-race series that will enable regional late model drivers to compete for prize money.

Approximately $300,000 in purse and point-fund money will be paid out in the Challenge, according to OPS officials. The series begins on Saturday, April 28 with the New England Dodge Dealers 150. The TD Banknorth 250 winner will receive a minimum of $25,000 with an extra $100 for each green-flag lap that the driver leads during the event.
