BAILEYVILLE – Chad James scored three goals and assisted on two to lead the Woodland boys soccer team to a 5-0 high school victory over Narraguagus Monday.

Jeremy Burke tallied a goal and an assist, Cody Sappier added a goal, and Matt Smith chipped in with two assists. Scott Boomer also had an assist for the 3-0 Dragons. Todd Townsend made five saves on nine shots.

Kyle Tenan made 15 saves on 24 shots for the 0-2-1 Knights of Harrington.

Calais 9, WA Raiders 4

At Calais, Corey Johnston scored five goals and Brandon Tomah added two to lead Calais past Washington Academy of East Machias.

Sean Cavanaugh and Robbie Rogers added a goal each for the Blue Devils. Scott Geel had three saves on five shots.

Julian Washington and Sung Min Kim netted two goals each for the Raiders. Josiah Jackson saved two of 11 shots.

Machias 6, Jonesport-Beals 1

At Jonesport, Jacob Stevens scored three goals and Raymond Sutton added two as Machias evened its record at 2-2.

Jacob Dahl scored the other goal and Mike Jenkins made eight saves on 17 shots.

Mikey Smith had the goal off a Sean Milliken assist for 0-2-1 Jonesport-Beals and Jeremy Bassett finished with 18 saves on 28 shots.

So. Aroostook 3, East Grand 0

At Danforth, Jeremy Boutilier scored two goals as Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook downed East Grand.

Dylan Boulier notched a goal and Rob Toothaker had two assists. Colby Clark made 21 saves on 24 shots for the 7-4 Warriors.

Rick Parks and Abe Brittain combined to make 42 saves on 48 shots for the 0-2 Vikings.

Washburn 3, Easton 2

At Easton, Matt Connolly, Brian Campbell and Adam Thompson each netted a goal to lead Washburn past Easton.

Thompson assisted on Connolly’s goal and Shayne Stevens made 14 saves on 20 shots for the 6-2-1 Beavers.

Brad Trask scored two goals and Tony Brown notched an assist for the 4-8 Bears. Jeremy Brock made 20 saves on 30 shots.

Madawaska 9, Wisdom 0

At St. Agatha, Tyler Levesque tallied three goals as Madawaska cruised past Wisdom.

Kyle Pelletier, Michael Cannon, Shawn Parker, Adam Ouellette, Chad Bechard and Tim McDermont each netted a goal for the 3-6-1 Owls. Andrew Levesque saved the two shots he faced.

Curtis Collin made 15 saves on 34 shots for the 0-9 Pioneers.

Field hockey

Central 3, Nokomis 1

At Corinth, Rachel Trafton, Mackie Davis and Christy Gray each scored a goal to lead Central past Nokomis of Newport.

Sam Morin made four saves on 10 shots for the 2-1-2 Red Devils.

Erin Knight tallied a goal for the 2-2 Warriors. Beth Flanders made 21 saves on 34 shots.

Foxcroft 2, Brewer 0

At Brewer, Jen Gagnon scored two goals to lead Foxcroft past Brewer.

Renee Mahew saved all four shots she faced for the 4-0 Ponies.

Angela Patterson made two saves on nine shots for the 0-4 Witches.

Girls soccer

Penobscot Valley 3, Sumner 0

At Howland, Mindy Dolley scored two goals and Lyndsay Drost added another as the Howlers improved to 3-0.

Katie Whitney added an assist and Julie Theriault saved two of four shots for the winners.

Morgan Traxler had six saves on 29 shots for 1-2 Sumner of East Sullivan.

JV: PVHS 2, Central 2

Ellsworth 5, Foxcroft 0

At Dover-Foxcroft, Casey Wyman scored two goals to lead Ellsworth past Foxcroft.

Emily Miller, Emily Lyons and Maggie Harding each added a goal and Danielle Warner an assist for the 4-0 Eagles. Catie Cravens had three saves on five shots.

Sarah Whitemore saved 14 of 22 shots for the 1-1-2 Ponies.

JV: Ellsworth 6-0

Orono 3, Dexter 2 (OT)

At Dexter, Meagan Curtis scored the winning goal with 1:06 remaining in the first overtime to lift Orono past Dexter.

Emily Balaban-Garber scored a goal and assisted on Wesley Osterhout’s goal for the 2-1-1 Red Riots. Brittany Pinkham made seven saves on 12 shots.

Kylie Keene notched a goal and an assist and Sarah Domenech chipped in with a goal for the 1-3-1 Tigers. Alexis Mitchell saved 21 of 26 shots.

Houlton 1, Schenck 0

At East Millinocket, Emily Bartlett scored the winning goal on a Keegan Hovey assist to lead Houlton past Schenck.

Bethany Targonski made five saves on six shots for the 3-4-1 Shiretowners.

Toni Thompson saved six of eight shots for the 1-4 Wolverines.

Greenville 3, Rangeley 1

At Greenville, Addie Pelletier scored two goals and Hannah Breton had a goal and an assist as Greenville downed Rangeley.

McKenna Peat notched an assist and Rebecca Martel made one save on six shots for the 4-0 Lakers.

Emma Christiansen scored the lone goal for Rangeley. Karista Jamison made six saves on 32 shots.

Washburn 10, Easton 1

At Easton, Morgan Berube and Alex Byrd each tallied three goals and two assists to lead Washburn over Easton.

Kelsey McLaughlin, Kristin Goupille, Wendy Ketch and Amber Reed each scored a goal for the 8-1 Beavers. Amber Palmer made six saves on eight shots.

Kassie Lovely netted a goal for the 1-11 Bears. Briana White saved 23 of 35 shots.

LCS/MSSM 1, Fort Fairfield 0

At Fort Fairfield, Jenn Cote scored a goal to lift Limestone Community School/Maine School of Science and Mathematics over Fort Fairfield.

Melanie Allen made 14 saves on 26 shots for the 4-6 Eagles.

Kelly Osgood saved nine of 13 shots for the 4-4 Tigers.
