BAR HARBOR – Jesse Abbott and Dem Katsiaficas each scored an unassisted goal to lead the Ellsworth Eagles to a 2-0 victory over archrival Mount Desert Island in high school boys soccer action Tuesday.

Greg Berry made three saves on six shots for the 3-1 Eagles.

John Joseph made six saves on 10 shots for the 2-2 Trojans.

JV: Ellsworth 2-0

Easton 7, East Grand 0

At Easton, Brad Trask racked up three goals and an assist as the Bears rolled.

Nate Sanders chipped in with two goals for Easton. Corey White and Jake King each added a score. Nick Flewelling had an assist and Jeremy Brock made seven saves on nine shots.

Rick Parks stopped 22 of 27 shots for the Vikings of Danforth.

Medomak Valley 2, Belfast 0

At Waldoboro, Jared Simmons scored a goal and assisted on another to lead Medomak Valley past Belfast.

Josh Chamberlain chipped in a goal and John Wood added an assist for the 1-3 Panthers. Miles Felch made four saves on six shots.

Russell Varney made 18 saves on 32 shots for 0-4 Lions.

Orono 8, Searsport 0

At Orono, Hosain Aghamoosa and Lee Hicker each netted two goals as Orono cruised past Searsport.

Chris McConnon tallied a goal and three assists and Jordan Dudley added a goal and two assists. Mike Conley and Ian Staples each scored a goal apiece and Mike Amato notched an assist. Nate Peterson saved all four shots he faced for the 3-1 Red Riots.

Don Peach saved 19 of 28 shots for the 0-3 Vikings.

JV: Bangor Freshmen 2-0

Piscataquis 3, Schenck 2

At Guilford, John Billstone scored off a pass from Roy Burdin with 3:18 left in regulation to lift the Pirates past Schenck of East Millinocket.

Billstone added an assist on a goal by Burdin and Jeff Robinson added a goal for 3-0-1 Piscataquis. Ryan Martell had four saves on seven shots.

Trevor Violette had a goal and an assist for the 1-2 Wolverines. Kerry Thompson added a goal and Lanny Thompson had 12 saves on 20 shots.

JV: 1-1

John Bapst 2, Hermon 1

At Bangor, Tetter Lundquist and Ian Bamford scored first-half goals to lead John Bapst past Hermon.

Casey Hull added an assist for the 4-0 Crusaders. Chris Smith had five saves on 13 shots.

Kevin Tarr scored for the 0-3 Hawks. Josh Blaine saved eight out of 24 shots.

JV: John Bapst 3-2

Old Town 7, Nokomis 2

At Old Town, Dillon Clark netted four goals and assisted on two as Old Town cruised past Nokomis of Newport.

Corey Fournier added a goal and an assist, and Josh Hesseltine and Luke Bartlett each scored a goal. Matt Cavanaugh chipped in an assist. Sam Petrie and Ethan Shanley combined to make seven saves on nine shots for the 2-1 Coyotes.

Jordan Woodbury notched two goals for the 1-3 Warriors. Wayne May made 15 saves on 22 shots.

JV: Nokomis 4-3 (2OT)

Belfast 2, Mount View 0

At Belfast, Kallie Aldus and Helen Berry each scored a goal to lead Belfast over Mount View for their 40th straight win.

Goalie Liz Anderson saved all four shots she faced for the 4-0 Lions.

Lynze Cronin made 22 saves on 24 shots for the 2-2 Mustangs of Thorndike.

JV: Mount View 3-1

Foxcroft 0, Hampden 0 (2OT)

At Dover-Foxcroft, the Ponies and Broncos battled to a double-overtime tie.

Renee Maheu saved all six shots she faced for 4-0-1 Foxcroft while Katie Hessert stopped all 16 shots she faced for 2-2-1 Hampden.

JV: Foxcroft 5-1

Stearns 5, Orono 0

At Millinocket, Felicia Achron scored three goals to lead the Minutemen to victory.

Amy Collinsworth had a goal and two assists and Paige Curtis a goal and Hannah Somers an assist for 4-0 Stearns. Deanna Michaud saved two of three shots.

Kristine Kittreidge had 14 saves on 27 shots for 2-3 Orono.

Girls soccer

Easton 12, East Grand 0

At Easton, Kassie Lovely tallied four goals and four assists to power the Bears past the Vikings of Danforth.

Kilynne Beaulieu contributed three goals and Kendra Conroy scored two more for 2-11 Easton. Kacie Getchell and sisters Briana White and Molly White each added a goal. Briana White and Taylor Burtt combined to stop all eight East Grand shots.

Courtney Lloyd, Malesa Zaneldin and Jodie Crone combined to make 21 saves on 51 shots for the 0-5 Vikings.

Washington Acad. 5, Shead 0

At Eastport, Andy Flannery scored two goals to lead the Raiders of East Machias past the Tigerettes.

Jocelyn Corey, Lauren Finn and Bree Nicely added a goal apiece for 3-0 Washington Academy. Irene Lewey had eight saves on 10 shots.

Dorothy Pottle saved nine of 17 shots for 1-3 Shead.

Bucksport 0, George Stevens 0

At Bucksport, Bucksport and George Stevens of Blue Hill played to a double-overtime tie.

Katie Hurd had three saves on four shots for the 3-1-1 Golden Bucks while Kayla Eaton saved seven out of 13 shots for the 4-0-1 Eagles.

Bangor Christian 6, Katahdin 2

At Bangor, Morgan Chasse scored four goals as Bangor Christian cruised past Katahdin.

Kelly Robinson scored on a Katherine Bragg assist. Christin Pelletier tallied a goal and Gretchen Veevaert added an assist. Moriah Bach and Morgan Staples combined to save all six shots they faced for the 4-0 Patriots.

Kali Rush netted both goals for the 2-4-1 Cougars of Stacyville. Kayla Stevens made 13 saves on 32 shots.

Highview Christian 7, Averill 2

At Charleston, Jade Philbrick netted four goals and assisted on another to lead Highview Christian over Averill of Hinkley.

Michala Rowe tallied three goals and an assist, and Jana Philbrick made seven saves on 12 shots for the 1-0 Knights.

Sara Mack and Veronica Larson each notched a goal for the 0-3 Beavers. Tiffany Cookson made 14 saves on 40 shots.

Piscataquis 1, Penquis 0

At Milo, Christine Davis scored with :39 remaining in the first half as Piscataquis of Guilford held off Penquis for the win.

Jill Martell saved five of eight shots for the 1-0-2 Pirates.

Erica Lyford made 12 saves on 17 shots for the 0-4 Patriots.
