SEARSPORT – Tianna Faunce scored on an assist from Abby Landmesser midway through the first half to lead Searsport Vikings to a 1-0 high school girls soccer victory over the Orono Red Riots Wednesday.
Landmesser sent Faunce in with a pass on the left wing, and Landmesser scored with a shot inside the far goalpost.
Amanda Chaney made six saves on 12 shots for 2-2 Searsport, while Brittany Pinkham made 15 saves on 23 shots for 2-2-1 Orono.
So. Aroostook 6, Woodland 0
At Dyer Brook, Kaylea Collier scored three goals to lead Southern Aroostook to victory.
Brittany Charette had two goals and two assists for the 6-0 Warriors and Evangeline Goodall added a goal. Emily Cummings and Erin Caswell combined to save 10 of 13 shots.
Cindy Bergin stopped four of 19 shots for 1-4 Woodland.
Calais 0, Narraguagus 0 (2OT)
At Harrington, Steph Perry turned away seven of 12 shots to preserve the double-overtime tie for 3-0-1 Calais.
Sam Baker made eight saves on 10 shots for 0-1-2 Narraguagus.
Ellsworth 8, MDI 0
At Ellsworth, Maggie Harding scored two goals and assisted two others to lead Ellsworth to the win.
Jen Richter had two goals and an assist for the 5-0 Eagles. Kelsey Crowley scored two goals as Emily Lyons and Casey Wyman each had a goal and an assist. Catie Cravens stopped all three shots.
Brigitte Pratt made 14 saves on 22 shots for 1-4 Mount Desert Island.

Dexter 2, Central 1
At Dexter, Alexis Mitchell scored the game-winning goal for the Tigers on an assist from Kylie Keene with 18:14 left in the second half.
Keene had given Dexter a 1-0 lead with a goal on a direct kick with 8:15 left in the first half, but Central of Corinth’s Marissa Haney tied the match less than three minutes later.
Ashley Richardson made 12 saves on 16 shots for 2-3-1 Dexter. Jessica Daniel made eight saves on 12 shots for 1-3 Central.
Lee 5, Penobscot Valley 3
At Howland, Amanda Gifford scored three second-half goals to lead Lee Academy to victory.
Aarika Ritchie and Kimmy Thurlow added goals for the 3-1 Pandas. Dana Houghton had an assist and Karin Bird stopped 13 of 23 shots.
Lindsay Drost, Kacey Plourde, and Michelle Bowers each scored a goal for 3-1 Penobscot Valley. Molly Thompson provided an assist and Julie Theriault made 15 saves on 24 shots.
Bangor 4, Old Town 0
At Old Town, Erin MacDermott and Kate Dana each scored two goals for the unbeaten Rams.
One of MacDermott’s goals came directly off a corner kick, while one of Dana’s goals came on a penalty kick.
Emily Heath added an assist for Bangor.
Tawnya Godinez made two saves on three shots for 5-0 Bangor. Nicole Guay and Lauren LeBreton combined to make 20 saves on 39 shots for 0-5 Old Town.

John Bapst 2, Hermon 0
At Hermon, Katie Lambert scored two second-half goals to push John Bapst of Bangor past Hermon.
Maggie Kane provided an assist for 1-1-1 John Bapst. Caroline Cassling, and Amber Estes combined to stop seven of 10 shots.
Ashley Kelley made 15 saves on 17 shots for 0-5-1 Hermon.

At Ashland Megan Lajoie scored two goals to lead Van Buren past Ashland.
Lindsay Lajoie scored a goal and assisted two others for 8-1 Van Buren. Krista Deschaines turned away five of seven shots.
Mindy Chasse scored in the second half on a Autumn Cobb assist for the 3-4-1 Hornets. Taylor Baker made 13 saves on 16 shots.
Washburn 2, Wisdom 0
At Saint Agatha, Kristen Goupille scored an unassisted goal with 37:19 left in the first half to lead Washburn.
Rachel Palmer added an unassisted goal with 10:26 left in the first for the 10-1 Beavers. Amber Palmer stopped four of six shots.
Kayla Daigle made 19 saves on 25 shots for 4-7 Wisdom.
Field hockey
Piscataquis 8, Old Town 1
At Guilford, Kelsey Martell scored three goals while sister Kellie scored two more and assisted on another to lead the Pirates to the win.
Hattie Agnew tallied three goals for Piscataquis while Ashley Davis and Annie Agnew had assists. Jessica Pratt had two saves on three shots.
Jenna King scored Old Town’s goal and Heather Nye saved eight out of 16 shots.

John Bapst 4, Brewer 0
At Bangor, Christina Andrle scored all four goals to lead John Bapst to the win.
Megan Tilton tallied two assists and Alison Krause had one for the 2-2 Crusaders. Hillary Laferriere made 14 saves on 18 shots.
Angela Paterson had eight saves on 15 shots for 0-4 Brewer.

Calais 4, Woodland 1
At Woodland, Corey Johnston scored twice to lift Calais past Woodland.
Robby Rogers had a goal and an assist for the 4-0 Blue Devils. Brandon Tomah added a goal and John Deacon provided an assist. Scott Geel stopped eight of 14 shots.
Cody Sappier scored a first-half goal on a Jeremy Burke assist for the 3-1 Dragons. Todd Thompson made 10 saves on 17 shots.
