BANGOR – Three of four men charged with the Dec. 7 home invasion and robbery at a house on Warren Street have been sentenced in Penobscot County Superior Court, according to prosecutors.

The quartet broke into the home looking for methamphetamine, but left instead with diabetes medication, Penobscot County Deputy District Attorney Michael Roberts said Monday afternoon.

Two residents were in the home at the time.

Curtis D. McNeely, 20, of Bangor was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison with all but four suspended, according to Roberts. He was sentenced after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary in the December incident and two previous unrelated robberies in Bangor and Old Town.

McNeely, who targeted the Warren Street residence, did not enter the home, but waited in the getaway car while the three others went inside, Roberts said Monday.

Co-defendants Travis Anderson, 20, and Todd Black, 24, both of Bangor, pleaded guilty to similar charges and were sentenced in June in Penobscot County Superior Court. Anderson brandished a knife, according to Roberts, but both men were “physically violent” with the residents.

Anderson was sentenced on June 20 to 15 years in prison with all but six suspended. Black was sentenced on June 12 to 15 years in prison with all but eight suspended.

Charges against Joshua Maloon, 20, of Belfast are pending for his part in three burglaries and the robbery, Roberts said Monday.
