HERMON – Alisa Hamilton scored off an assist from Nellie Wood with 6:35 remaining in the first overtime to lead the Hampden Academy Broncos to a 1-0 high school field hockey victory over the Hermon Hawks Tuesday.

Kate Hessert saved all three shots she faced for the 4-3 Broncos.

Carrie Cole made seven saves on eight shots for the 0-5-1 Hawks.

JV: Hampden 4-1

Bangor 1, Orono 0

At Bangor, Michelle Gist scored in the second half to lift Bangor past Orono.

Hilary Babin and Mikaela Marshall-Holmes combined to save all six shots they faced for 2-7 Bangor.

Kristina Kittridge had eight saves on nine shots for 2-5 Orono.

JV: Bangor 4-0

Belfast 2, MCI 1

At Belfast, Skye Ellis and Briana Curry each scored a goal as Belfast downed Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield.

Jill Ross notched two assists and Kallie Aldus added another for the 7-0 Lions. Liz Anderson made one save on two shots.

Kristy Huff scored the lone goal for the 0-7 Huskies. Courney Howe made 14 saves on 16 shots.

JV: Belfast 2-0

Dexter 1, Foxcroft Acad. 0

At Dexter, Jana Kenney scored the game-winning goal on a penalty stroke with 20:27 remaining in the first half to lead Dexter by Foxcroft.

Katie Poirier stopped all five shots she faced for the 4-2-1 Tigers.

Renee Maheu made three saves on seven shots for the 4-2-1 Ponies.

JV: Dexter 3-0

Central 6, Brewer 0

At Brewer, Rachel Trafton and Maddie Dunakin each netted two goals to lead Central by Brewer.

Mackie Davis and Chantel Randall each added a goal while Aliza Underhill, Cristie Gray and Beth Dauphinee each recorded an assist for Central. Sami Morin stopped all three shots she faced for the Red Devils.

Angela Patterson made 11 saves on 17 shots for the Witches.

JV: Central 4-1

Boys soccer

Presque Isle 0, Hermon 0 (2OT)

At Hermon, the Wildcats and Hawks played to a scoreless tie through two overtimes.

Corey Johnson had eight saves on 15 shots for 0-6-1 Hermon while Adam Kingsbury saved four out of six shots for 5-1-1 Presque Isle.

Highview Chr. 2, East Grand 1

At Charleston, Jonas Kramer netted the game-winning goal off an assist from Jonathan Reed 1:18 into the second overtime as the Knights earned the win.

Reed scored the first half goal for Highview Christian. Wesley Jones and Kramer combined to make six saves on 11 shots for the 2-0 Knights.

Lucas Gillis scored the tying goal for East Grand of Danforth in the second half. Rick Parks made 18 saves on 26 shots for the 0-5 Vikings.

Cavalry Chapel 3, Greenville 2

At Orrington, Rosaire Veilleux tallied a goal and an assist to help Cavalry Chapel get past Greenville.

Zac Austin scored on a Jon Burke assist, and Luke Thomas added a goal for the 5-0 Sabers. Beau Miller made 10 saves on 12 shots.

T.J. St. Louis and Richie Chilson each notched a goal for the 3-3 Lakers. Tim Post made five saves on 16 shots.

Brewer 3, Old Town 3 (2OT)

At Brewer, the Witches and the Coyotes played to a 3-3 tie through two overtimes.

Andrew Richardson scored two goals and Shun Sasaki added another for 3-3-1 Brewer. Lucas Simmons notched an assist and Chris Brady made 12 saves on 16 shots.

Dylan Clark netted two goals and Chad Paradis scored another for 3-2-1 Old Town. Sam Petrie saved 12 of 20 shots.

JV: Brewer 3-0

John Bapst 3, MDI 2

At Mount Desert, Nick Hubbard and Ian Bamford each scored a goal in the last five minutes of the game to lead John Bapst by Mount Desert Island.

Andrew Casey netted a goal and grabbed an assist for John Bapst. Chris Smith stopped seven of 10 shots for the 6-0 Crusaders.

Skyler Lewis and Ben Young each scored a goal while Chad Young and Lewis each had an assist. John Joseph made three saves on eight shots for the 3-3 Trojans.

Hampden Academy 7, Nokomis 0

At Hampden, Nate Brown scored a pair of goals and Nick Beal and Logan Larabee had a goal and an assist apiece as the Broncos cruised.

Aaron Gilio, Nate Burke and Brad Haase had the other goals for 5-1 Hampden Academy and Nick El-Hajj had an assist. Cam Cox and Jon Lenz shared the goaltending and Nokomis had just one shot on goal.

Shawn Graves made 15 saves on 25 shots for the 1-6 Warriors.

Girls soccer

Highview Chr. 5, East Grand 1

At Charleston, Michala Rowe scored three goals and had one assist while Jade Philbrick assisted on three goals and scored one herself as the Knights cruised to the win.

Courtney Chandler added a goal for 2-1 Highview Christian. Jana Philbrick, Jade Philbrick’s twin sister, stopped seven of 13 shots.

Kelsey Daoust nailed a second-half penalty kick for the 0-8 Vikings of Danforth. Jodie Crone and Malessa Zaneldin combined for 14 saves on 29 shots.

Greenville 4, Calvary Chapel 0

At Greenville, Hannah Breton netted two unassisted goals to help the Lakers shut out the Sabres.

McKenna Peat and Ruby Rockwell each added an unassisted goal for Greenville. Lauren Fling stopped three of four shots for 5-1 Greenville.

Hannah Lacadie made 19 saves on 31 shots for 4-1-1 Calvary Chapel of Orrington.

PCHS 3, Dexter 1

At Dexter, Mallory Izbicki, Amberly Richins and Christine Davis each scored a second-half goal as the Pirates rallied to defeat the Tigers.

Jill Martell made five saves on 10 shots for 2-0-3 Piscataquis of Guilford.

Alexis Mitchell put the 3-4-1 Tigers up with a first-half goal off an assist from Sara Domenech. Ashley Richardson stopped seven on 10 shots for the 3-4-1 Tigers.

Brewer 1, Old Town 0

At Old Town, Carolyn Tuck stopped eight of 11 shots and Meghan Martin had the game-winner as the Witches edged the Coyotes.

Martin put in her goal for 2-4-1 Brewer with 8:05 left in the first half.

Nicole Guay made 18 saves on 27 shots for the 0-7 Coyotes.

Penobscot Valley 5, Penquis 1

At Howland, Lyndsay Drost netted two goals to lead Penobscot Valley past Penquis of Milo.

Mindy Dolley, Lexi Thurlow and Morgan Cyr each scored a goal for the 5-1 Howlers. Kristy Bellavance notched an assist and Kelsey Lavertu made three saves on five shots.

Kayla Webb scored for the 0-6 Patriots. Erica Lyford made 28 saves on 50 shots.

Orono 4, Central 1

At Corinth, Heather Woodbrey and Lauren Wheeler each scored two goals to power Orono past Central.

Brittany Pinkham made 16 saves on 20 shots for the 4-2-1 Red Riots.

Kelsi McHugh netted a goal for the 1-5 Red Devils. Nicole LaMarche and Jessica Daniel combined to make three saves on seven shots.

Lee 5, Schenck 0

At Lee, Amanda Gifford scored three goals as Lee cruised past Schenck.

Aarike Ritchie and Dana Houghton each tallied a goal for the 5-1 Pandas. Katelyn Mallet notched an assist and Karin Bird saved all nine shots she faced.

Toni Thompson made eight saves on 26 shots for the 1-6 Wolverines of East Millinocket.

Bucksport 3, Hermon 0

At Hermon, Cassie Gourley notched three goals as Bucksport downed Hermon.

Terren Hall chipped in two assists and Madi Daigle added another. Katie Hurd made six saves on eight shots for the 5-1-1 Golden Bucks.

Megan Herbert saved 16 of 20 shots for the 0-7-1 Hawks.

Bangor Chr. 1, Searsport 0

At Bangor, Morgan Chasse netted the game-winning goal with 4:29 left in the first half to lead Bangor Christian by Searsport.

Christin Pelletier recorded the assist while Moriah Bach stopped all nine shots she faced for the 7-0 Patriots.

Amanda Chaney made 12 saves on 19 shots for the 2-4 Vikings.

Hampden 5, Nokomis 0

At Nokomis, Michelle Manning scored three goals as Hampden shut out Nokomis.

Katie Chambers and Mikkala Libby each added a goal while Lauren Jadallah grabbed an assist. Michelle Wells stopped all seven shots she faced for the Broncos.

Laura Lyford made 16 saves on 21 shots for the Warriors.

Fort Kent 5, Caribou 1

At Fort Kent, Taylor Boucher scored the first of her two second-half goals early in the period to snap a 1-1 halftime tie and propel the Warriors past the Vikings.

Emily Pelletier, Kasey Pelletier and Bailey LeBoeuf added a goal apiece for 7-3 Fort Kent. Kelsie Bouchard had five saves on eight shots.

Kristen Espling netted a first-half goal for 2-5 Caribou. Brittany Doak had 14 saves on 27 shots.
