Monday: 5 p.m., City Council, workshop on Taxpayer Bill of Rights; 5:15 p.m., City Council, executive session regarding disposition of city property at 107 Maine Ave.; 5:45 p.m., City Council, executive session regarding pay and benefits for certain city employees; 7:30 p.m., City Council, regular meeting, agenda includes authorization of option agreement with the Maine Governmental Facilities Authority and state judicial branch for purchase and development of a city parcel on Exchange Street, authorization of the sale of a lot in Maine Business Development Park, adoption of a resolve supporting Maine’s investment in deep-water port infrastructure at Sears Island, amendment of a purchase option agreement for redevelopment of former trustees’ building at 107 Maine Ave.
. Tuesday: 3:30 p.m., water district trustees, 614 State St., agenda includes watershed land purchase update, administrative subcommittee report, proposed 2007 calendar, award of bid for an electronic gate; 5 p.m., City Council’s government operations committee, agenda includes lease agreement with Eastern Maine Medical Center for the use of the Cascade Park parking lot on Oct. 16, request to participate in opiate education campaign, update and recommendation regarding a request to the state Center for Disease Control to transfer operation of Bangor Regional Partners for Health to city’s health and welfare department, establishment of single-room occupancy rate.
. Wednesday: 5 p.m., recycling committee, public works conference room, agenda includes recycling report, recycling intern update, discussion of plans for recycling; 7 p.m., school committee, regular meeting, agenda recognition, technology update for 2006-07, 2006 Metropolitan Achievement Test report, 2006-07 No Child Left Behind application report, extra-duty assignments, citywide energy audit.
. Thursday: 6 p.m., board of assessment review.
