Two members of the Bruderhof, a religious community founded in the 1920s in Germany, will speak at noon Monday at Bangor Theological Seminary on the Husson College campus. Martin and Burgel Johnston are members of the Bruderhof, a Protestant religious community founded by Eberhard Arnold. The Bruderhof believe that society is a system of injustice that has fallen into violence, fear and isolation. Members do not hold assets or property individually but share in common based on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. About 2,500 members have formed communities in England and the United States. Call 942-6781.
