DOVER-FOXCROFT – The final meeting in 2006 for the Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, at the Thayer Parkway meeting room on Park Street.

Jim and Mary Annis will talk about the beginnings of the “big house, little house, back house, barn,” which was a popular style of building throughout Maine and New England. The public is invited to attend the meeting.
