PORTLAND – An Allenstown, N.H., man accused of drugging and raping a 15-year-old girl in August was arrested in Maine, the day he was to be featured on the television show “America’s Most Wanted.”

Robert Hanright, 38, was caught Saturday afternoon after WMUR-TV reported late Friday night that he would be featured on the show Saturday night.

Police received a tip from a viewer giving the exact address for Hanright. When marshals checked it out, they found Hanright outside.

Hanright was scheduled to be arraigned today in Maine and later returned to New Hampshire.

He is accused of raping the girl on Aug. 1, the day he met her, said Allenstown Police Chief Shaun Mulholland.

Hanright has a criminal record in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and Illinois, said Mulholland. He said the record includes a prison escape, assault on a police officer and at least one other sex-related charge.
