HARTFORD, Conn., – Gennaro Leo ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns as Trinity topped Colby 27-10 Saturday to run the nation’s longest winning streak to 31 games.

Eric McGrath completed 10 of 19 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns. Nose guard Jeff Carpenter helped secure the win, intercepting a tipped ball at the line of scrimmage with one hand to end a Colby drive in the fourth quarter.

Justin Smith threw for 83 yards and a touchdown for Colby. He hit wide receiver Andrew Carey for a 26-yard score in the first quarter. Chris Bagshaw added 79 yards rushing.

At Williamstown, Mass., Saturday, Corey Catelli scored two touchdowns and the Williams defense limited Bowdoin to 137 yards of offense to cruise to the win.

Brian Morrissey ran for 84 yards and a touchdown for the Ephs.

Jeff Smith ran for 61 yards to lead the Polar Bears of Brunswick.

At Amherst, Mass., Saturday, Mark Hannon caught two touchdown passes and ran back a punt for another score as the Jeffs rolled over the Bobcats of Lewiston.

Hannon caught scoring passes of 39 and 16 yards from Nick Kehoe and ran a punt back 64 yards all in the first half. Kehone finished 14 of 23 for 260 yards.

Jamie Walker led Bates with 48 yards rushing and a touchdown.
