IAN EDWARDS

Edwards, a junior quarterback on the Bangor football team, had a most efficient passing night in the Rams’ 24-7 victory over Cony of Augusta. He completed 5 of 6 passes for 130 yards and four touchdowns to four different receivers as Bangor improved to 4-0 on the season.

Small School (Classes C-D)

NICK SMITH

Smith, a junior tailback and safety for the John Bapst of Bangor football team, rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries to lead the Crusaders to a 27-26 victory over Rockland. He also had six tackles on defense for 3-1 John Bapst.

GIRLS

Big School (Classes A-B)

LAURA SCHELBLE

A Camden Hills senior field hockey player, Schelble scored both goals in a 2-1 victory over previously undefeated Waterville Tuesday. The Windjammers went on to beat Waterville 5-4.

Small School (Classes C-D)

COURTNEY COCHRAN

Cochran, a Woodland volleyball junior outside hitter, led the 6-2 Dragons to wins over previously undefeated Washington Academy, Lubec and Machias last week. Cochran was 30-for-35 from the service line with seven aces, 42 kills and 35 digs.
