HAMPDEN – Child development classes at Hampden Academy will operate a nursery school for area children ages 3-5.

The program, which can accommodate 12 to 15 youngsters, will run one or two hours a day, three days a week from mid-October through the beginning of January.

The children will have the opportunity to play with others in a safe and well-supervised learning environment, while high school students gain experience planning and using developmentally appropriate activities.

The program is free of charge, although parents will be asked to donate $1 a day for snacks.

For more information or to register, call Diane Batty at Hampden Academy, 862-3791. Space is available first come, first served.
