LAGRANGE – Three local juveniles have been charged with criminal mischief for vandalizing four road construction vehicles early last month.

The vandalism spree that included six broken windows in vehicles owned by Emery Lee and Sons of Medway amounted to about $4,000 in damage.

Trooper Jarod Stedman of the Maine State Police said Wednesday that he and Trooper Matt Grant received a possible lead when they canvassed the neighborhood in the area of the gravel pit where the vehicles were damaged.

That information lead to three boys in their early teens. The juveniles were released to their parents.
